Description:
At 839 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Vienna, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Vienna, Lake Of Egypt Area, Cypress, New Burnside, Buncombe, Belknap,
and Simpson.
This includes Interstate 24 in Illinois between Mile Markers 6 and
22.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
