At 801 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Carlock, or 8 miles northwest of Normal, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Bloomington, Normal, Lexington, Hudson, and Towanda. This includes the following highways... Interstate 39 between mile markers 0 and 9. Interstate 55 between mile markers 162 and 178. Interstate 74 between mile markers 126 and 128.
