* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, southeast wind gusts up to 45 to 55
mph. For the Heat Advisory, heat index values around 105 expected.
* WHERE...DuPage, Kane, Lake IL, and McHenry Counties.
* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, until 8 PM CDT this evening. For the
Heat Advisory, from noon Monday to 10 PM CDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Hot
temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
Instruction:
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
