Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following
county, Kane.
* WHEN...Until 600 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding
may occur in poor drainage areas. Roads and streets may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 405 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heaviest rain
has ended. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. Runoff from the rain that has fallen will
continue to result in areas of minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Huntley, Campton Hills, Pingree Grove, Hampshire, Elburn,
Maple Park, Lily Lake, Burlington and Virgil.

Instruction:
A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor
drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in
the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
