* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of north central Illinois, including the following county, Winnebago. * WHEN...Until 345 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1241 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated an area of thunderstorms producing torrential rainfall moving northeast at 20 to 25 mph. - Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the advisory area, most of it within the next hour. This will likely result in pockets of flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rockford, Loves Park, Machesney Park, Roscoe, South Beloit, Rockton, Rockford Airport, Cherry Valley, Winnebago, Davis Junction and New Milford. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
