* WHAT...Flooding caused by the overnight excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following counties, Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will. * WHEN...Until 800 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 540 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Chicago, Aurora, Naperville, Elgin, Cicero, Arlington Heights, Evanston, Schaumburg, Bolingbrook, Skokie, Des Plaines, Berwyn, Mount Prospect, Wheaton, Hoffman Estates, Oak Park, Downers Grove, Glenview, Elmhurst and Lombard. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
