Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and northeast
Illinois, including the following counties, in central Illinois,
Livingston. In north central Illinois, La Salle. In northeast
Illinois, Grundy.
* WHEN...Until 1115 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding
may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may
be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 804 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms with rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour.
Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen so far between Grand
Ridge and Ransom. Additional rounds of rainfall are expected
shortly.

Ottawa, Streator, Morris, Peru, La Salle, Coal City,
Marseilles, Dwight, Oglesby, Seneca, Gardner, North Utica,
Odell, Mazon, South Streator, Braceville, Tonica, Grand
Ridge, Naplate and South Wilmington.

Instruction:
A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor
drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in
the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters.
