Description:
At 122 PM CDT, Scattered thunderstorms were developing across parts
of western Kentucky.
HAZARD...Torrential rainfall and wind gusts up to 40 mph. A storm or
two could briefly become severe over the next few hours.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Paducah, Murray, Mayfield, Princeton, Benton, Calvert City, Cadiz,
Eddyville, Fulton, Clinton, La Center, Bardwell, Wickliffe, Hillman
Ferry Campground, Woodlands Nature Station, Cravens Bay Campground,
Lone Oak, Birmingham Ferry Recreation Area, Land Between The Lakes
Area, and Reidland.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 24 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 1 and 63.
Interstate 69 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 1 and 84.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
