* WHAT...Flooding caused by repeated rounds of thunderstorms
continues.
* WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following counties,
Cook, De Kalb, Kane, Kendall, La Salle and Will and northwest
Indiana, including the following counties, Lake IN and Porter.
* WHEN...Until 1100 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...High water in retention ponds, ditches, rivers, creeks,
and streams, and low-lying areas will continue to subside through
the morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 823 AM CDT, gauge reports along area rivers, creeks, and
streams indicate residual high water from repeated rounds of
thunderstorms.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Chicago, Aurora, Joliet, Naperville, Hammond, Gary,
Bolingbrook, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Oak Lawn, Romeoville,
Plainfield, Calumet City, Portage, Merrillville, Valparaiso,
Oswego, Chicago Heights, Chicago Lawn and Roseland.
