Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, including the following
county, Wabash and Indiana, including the following counties,
Gibson, Pike, Posey and Warrick.
* WHEN...Until 1145 PM CDT /1245 AM EDT/.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 842 PM CDT /942 PM EDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and
3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Princeton, Mount Carmel, Fort Branch, Oakland City,
Petersburg, Grayville, Haubstadt, Owensville, Poseyville,
Lynnville, Winslow, Patoka, Cynthiana, Elberfeld, Francisco,
Somerville, Hazleton, Keensburg, Spurgeon and Griffin.
