At 909 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located just west of Watson, or 7 miles southwest of Effingham, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near... Watson and Heartville around 915 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Effingham County Airport. This includes the following highways... Interstate 57 between mile markers 147 and 158. Interstate 70 between mile markers 81 and 92.
