Description:
At 359 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Georgetown, or 10 miles northwest of Montpelier, moving east at 30
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 35 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Montpelier, Georgetown, Bern, Georgetown Summit, Geneva, Geneva
Summit, Liberty, Bennington, and Clear Creek Ranger Station.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
