Description:
Heavy rain is causing minor urban and small stream flooding across
upper portions of the Treasure Valley.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest Idaho, including the following
counties, Ada and Canyon.
* WHEN...Until 1115 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 905 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.
- Small hail is also accumulating in some areas.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Boise, Nampa, Caldwell, Meridian, Eagle, Garden City and
Star.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
