At 215 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles southeast of Franklin, or 6 miles northwest of Highlands, moving southwest at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Franklin, Dillard, Sky Valley, Highlands, Ellijay, Scaly Mountain, Otto, Cullasaja, and Rainbow Springs.
