Description:
At 248 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Stone Mountain, or 7
miles northeast of Decatur, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...40 to 50 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
ground lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
light, unsecured objects.

Lawrenceville, Snellville, Lilburn, Clarkston, Stone Mountain,
Avondale Estates, Pine Lake, Tucker, Belvedere Park, North Decatur,
Mountain Park, Big Haynes Creek Park, Redan, Rosebud, and Scottdale.
Instruction:
People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
