Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Chatham County in southeastern Georgia...
* WHEN...Until 515 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 435 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated weakening showers with
locally heavy rainfall moving out of the Savannah Metro Area.
Public reports indicate some urban flooding has occurred on some
roadways since 4 PM, including portions of US-17 near Chevis Road
and portions of Jimmy Deloach Parkway. Any flooding should
quickly improve once shower activity ends.

Midtown Savannah, Downtown Savannah, Hunter Army Airfield,
Windsor Forest, Hutchinson Island, Coffee Bluff, Wilmington
Island, Montgomery, Thunderbolt and Vernonburg.
