Description:
At 630 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles west of Rainbow Lakes Estates, moving north at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Chiefland, Bronson, East Bronson, Andrews, Manattee Road, Fowlers
Bluff, Williston Highlands, Inglis, Fanning Springs, Otter Creek,
Crystal Manor, Manatee Springs State Park, and Lebanon.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
