Description:
At 642 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Myakka City to North Port. These storms
were nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
North Port, Port Charlotte, Myakka City, Murdock, Hidden River, Gulf
Cove, El Jobean, Charlotte Harbor, and Warm Mineral Springs.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
