Description:
At 304 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm over Miccosukee Service Plaza, or 32 miles west
of Pembroke Pines, moving northwest at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Miccosukee Indian Reservation, Miccosukee Service Plaza, and West
Broward Rec. Area On Alligator Alley.
Instruction:
These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.
