At 247 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm over Mile Marker 30 On Alligator Alley, or 15 miles west of Sunrise. This storm was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Weston, Mile Marker 30 On Alligator Alley, East Toll Gate On Alligator Alley, Intersection I-75 And U.S. 27, and Intersection Alligator Alley And Miami Canal.
