Description:
At 859 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles west of
Intersection Krome And U.S. 27 to 10 miles northeast of Fortymile
Bend to near Dade-Collier Training Airport. Movement was southeast at
10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Dade-Collier Training Airport, Fortymile Bend, and Big Cypress
National Preserve.
Instruction:
These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.
