Description:
At 357 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 16 miles south of Monticello to 13 miles east
of St. Marks to near Crawfordville. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Woodville, St. Marks, Perry, Crawfordville, Wakulla, Newport,
Shadeville, Hells Half Acre, Wakulla Springs, Eridu, Cabbage Grove,
Panacea, Scanlon, Medart, Foley, Bethel, Perry-Foley Airport, Liveoak
Island, Hampton Springs, and Goose Pasture.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
