At 635 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Montrose, moving west at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Montrose and Olathe. This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 550 in Colorado between mile markers 125 and 130. U.S. Highway 50 in Colorado between mile markers 82 and 100. Colorado 90 between mile markers 82 and 89.
