* Until 330 PM MST.
* At 252 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles east of
Vail, moving northwest at 5 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Vail, Saguaro National Park East and Mescal.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 10 between mile markers 281 and 295. Route 83 between mile
markers 56 and 58.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
