* Flash Flood Warning for...
South Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
Western Santa Cruz County in southeastern Arizona...
* Until 945 PM MST.
* At 643 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
between 1.00 and 2.00 inches heavy rain across the southern
portions of Arivaca and near Arivaca Lake. An automated rain gage
reported 1.61 inches of rain at Arivaca Lake in the past hour.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly, especially
along and near Arivaca Wash between Arivaca Lake and Highway 286.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
