At 343 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong outflow along a line extending from near Pipeline Canyon Trailhead to near Desert Ridge Marketplace to Falcon Field Airport to near Gold Canyon to 9 miles south of Boyce Thompson Arboretum. Movement was southwest at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Phoenix, Mesa, Chandler, Glendale, Scottsdale, Gilbert, Tempe, Peoria, Surprise, Avondale, Buckeye, Apache Junction, El Mirage, Florence, Fountain Hills, Paradise Valley, Coolidge, Tolleson, Youngtown, and Waddell. This includes the following highways... AZ Interstate 10 between mile markers 134 and 168. AZ Interstate 17 between mile markers 195 and 230. AZ Route 51 between mile markers 1 and 15.
