At 633 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport, or near Apache Junction, moving southwest at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Mesa, Gilbert, Apache Junction, Gold Canyon, Queen Creek, Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport, San Tan Village Mall, Gold Camp, and Higley. This includes the following highways... US Highway 60 between mile markers 189 and 208. AZ Route 202 between mile markers 30 and 41.
