Description:
At 329 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles north of Claypool, or 11 miles north of Globe. This
thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Coon Creek CG and Inspiration.
This includes AZ Route 188 between mile markers 218 and 233.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
