Description:
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Southwestern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...
* WHEN...Until 1215 AM MST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some
low-water crossings may become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1028 PM MST, emergency management reported heavy rain in the
advisory area due to thunderstorms. This is causing urban and
small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas have
already caused minor flooding, road closures, and elevated flow
in washes in the advisory area. Heed road closures due to
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Sierra Vista, Benson, Whetstone, Huachuca City, St. David,
Tombstone, Dragoon, Kartchner Caverns State Park, Fort Huachuca,
Mescal, Fairbank, Charleston and Texas Canyon.
- This includes the following highways...
Route 90 between mile markers 290 and 327. Route 80 between mile
markers 293 and 326. Route 92 between mile markers 322 and 324.
Interstate 10 between mile markers 298 and 325. Route 82 between
mile markers 48 and 67.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
