* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northeastern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona... * WHEN...Until 900 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 603 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to a broken line of thunderstorms extending from San Simon westward into the Bowie and Willcox areas. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen with the heaviest rain around Willcox and north of Interstate 10 between Bowie and San Simon. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Willcox, Bowie, Cochise, Kansas Settlement and San Simon. - This includes the following highways... Route 191 between mile markers 58 and 91. Interstate 10 between mile markers 326 and 390.
