* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Central Cochise County in southeastern Arizona... * WHEN...Until 715 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 509 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen just east of Pearce-Sunsites with the heaviest rain near Kansas Settlement Road. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Pearce-Sunsites, Sunizona and Kansas Settlement. - This includes the following highways... Route 181 between mile markers 39 and 41.
