Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Central Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...
* WHEN...Until 200 PM MST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry washes. Water over
roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1212 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has
fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Gadwell Canyon and Whitewater Draw. Additional rainfall amounts
up to 0.2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain
will result in minor flooding.

Mainly rural areas of Central Cochise County.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain.
Washes, streams, and rivers can become raging killer currents in a
matter of minutes, even from distant rainfall.
