Description: 
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Areas near Peeples Valley in Yavapai County in west central Arizona... * WHEN...Until 900 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in creeks and normally dry washes is imminent or occurring. Dangerous flooding over low-water crossings. Water flowing over roadways will create slick roads and muddy unpaved roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 603 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Cellar Springs Creek, Waterman Creek, Antelope Creek, Cherry Creek, Dead Mexican Creek, Kirkland Creek, Martinez Creek, Yarnell Creek, Little Buckhorn Creek, Blind Indian Creek, East Antelope Creek, Oak Creek, Hassayampa River, Miller Creek, Date Creek, Minnehaha Creek, Milk Creek, Tussock Spring Creek, Mescal Creek, Spring Creek, Sheppard Wash, Castle Creek, Poplar Wash, Slim Jim Creek, Sand Creek, Humbug Creek, Model Creek, Amazon Gulch, Black Butte Wash, Cottonwood Creek, Banty Creek, Arrastre Creek, Buzzard Roost Creek, French Creek, Weaver Creek, North Fork Date Creek, East Fork Castle Creek, Whipsaw Creek and Buckhorn Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Yarnell, Peeples Valley, Hawkins, Weaver Peak, Wagoner, Kirkland Junction, Hassayampa River Canyon Wilderness, Walnut Grove, Piedmont and Date. - This includes State Route 89 between mile markers 272 and 273... and between mile markers 276 and 289. - Additional information is available at weather.gov/flagstaff.
Instruction: 
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Low water crossings will become dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
