Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Areas near Dilkon in Navajo County in north central
Arizona...
* WHEN...Until 845 PM MST /945 PM MDT/.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in creeks and normally dry washes is
imminent or occurring. Dangerous flooding over low-water crossings.
Water flowing over roadways will create slick roads and muddy
unpaved roads.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 714 PM MST /814 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain
due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen.
- This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
Bidahochi Wash, Humpy Wash, Ha-whi-yalin Wash, Pueblo Colorado
Wash, Coyote Wash, Fern Feather Wash and Tees Toh Wash.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Dilkon, Tees Toh, Indian Wells, Castle Butte and Cedar Springs.
- This includes State Route 87 between mile markers 361 and 382.

Instruction:
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Low water crossings will become dangerous in heavy rain. Do not
attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
