Description: 
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Yavapai County in west central Arizona near Ponderosa Park south of Prescott... * WHEN...Until 345 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in creeks and normally dry washes is imminent or occurring. Dangerous flooding over low-water crossings. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1237 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms south of Prescott near Ponderosa Park. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.25 and 2.25 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Miller Creek, Finch Wash, Iron Springs Wash, Hassayampa River, Orofino Wash, Spence Creek, Willow Creek, Butte Creek, Bannon Creek, Kirkland Creek, Wolf Creek, Granite Creek, Logan Wash, Board Creek, Skull Valley Wash and Copper Basin Wash. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wildwood Estates, Highland Pines, Rancho Vista Estates, Copper Basin, Thumbe Butte, Ponderosa Park and Whipple. - This includes State Route 89 between mile markers 298 and 312. This includes the following recreation areas andcampgrounds... White Spar Campground, Wolf Creek Falls, Acker Park and AC Williams Granite Creek Park. This includes the following swimming holes... Instruction: 
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Low water crossings will become dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
