Description:
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Eastern Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
* WHEN...Until 745 PM MST.
* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry washes. Some
low-water crossings may become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 551 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Tucson and Rita Ranch.
- This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 272 and 277.
This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations...
Old Spanish Trl at Rincon Creek, Camino Loma Alta at Rincon Creek
and Old Spanish Trail at Jeremy Wash.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
