* WHAT...Southeast winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts of 35 to 50 mph expected. Strongest winds in south to west Anchorage (along Turnagain Arm). * WHERE...Lower elevations of Anchorage and Eagle River. * WHEN...From 1 AM to noon AKDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. The combination of saturated soils and wind could also lead to downed trees, especially already damaged or diseased trees. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds will be late tonight through early Thursday morning, approximately between 3am and 9am.
