Description: 
* WHAT...Southeast winds 25 to 40 mph with gusts of 50 to 65 mph expected. * WHERE...Anchorage and Eagle River Hillsides. * WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to noon AKDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. The combination of saturated soils and wind could also lead to downed trees, especially already damaged or diseased trees. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There will be two rounds of strong and gusty winds. The first round will occur Tuesday afternoon through evening followed by a lull in winds late Tuesday night through Wednesday afternoon. The second round of strong winds will be Wednesday night through Thursday morning. Rain will accompany both rounds of wind. Rain intensity looks particularly heavy late Wednesday night through early Thursday morning, which could lead to downed trees due to saturated soils.
