Description:
* WHAT...Southeast winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts of 30 to 45 mph
expected. Strongest winds in south to west Anchorage (along
Turnagain Arm).
* WHERE...Lower elevations of Anchorage and Eagle River.
* WHEN...From 1 AM to noon AKDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few
power outages may result. The combination of saturated soils and
wind could also lead to downed trees, especially already damaged
or diseased trees.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds will be late Wednesday
night through early Thursday morning, approximately between 3am
and 9am.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
