* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Yentna River. * WHEN...Until noon AKDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water could enter several cabins along the Yentna River near Lake Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 237 PM AKDT, river gauge reports indicate rises in water levels from heavy rain across the advisory area. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly, especially along the Yentna River near Lake Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible. - For Yentna River at Lake Creek: At 1:50pm the stage was 19.8 feet. Flood Stage is 20.5 feet. Forecast: A crest near 21.0 feet is expected around 10:00pm Wednesday. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
