Description: 
At 606 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Morgan City, moving southeast at 30 mph. A gust front extended northeast and southwest from this storm which will track through eastern Madison, Jackson, northeast Morgan into Marshall Counties. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Southern Huntsville, Albertville, Scottsboro, Guntersville, Arab, Redstone Arsenal, Moores Mill, Stevenson, Owens Cross Roads, and Hollywood.
Instruction: 
If on or near Lake Guntersville, get out of the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
