Description:
At 532 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ardmore, or 11 miles northwest of Meridianville, moving southeast at
15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Huntsville, Decatur, Madison, Athens, Moores Mill, Redstone Arsenal,
Meridianville, Hazel Green, Trinity, and Owens Cross Roads.
Instruction:
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
