Description: 
At 257 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles northeast of Lexington to near Courtland to 8 miles southwest of Moulton. Movement was northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Decatur, Madison, Athens, Hartselle, Moulton, Priceville, Trinity, Falkville, Rogersville, and Ardmore.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for north central and northwestern Alabama...and Middle Tennessee.
