...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Alabama...
Bayou Sara At Saraland affecting Mobile County.
For the Bayou Sara...including Saraland...Major flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
This approaches the flood of record.
* WHERE...Bayou Sara at Saraland.
* WHEN...Until late Friday night.
* IMPACTS...At 8.3 feet, Bayou Sara Avenue floods east of gauging
site. Numerous houses and streets flood east of the railroad
between Bayou Sara and Norton Creek.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 9.4 feet just after midnight
tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow
evening to 3.3 feet Saturday morning.
- Flood stage is 4.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
