For the Bayou Sara...including Saraland...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Bayou Sara at Saraland. * WHEN...Until late Friday night. * IMPACTS...At 7.9 feet, Streets along Bayou Sara flood. Low lying areas along Gunnison Creek in Satuma flood. Above 8 feet, numerous streets and houses east of the railroad between Bayou Sara and Norton Creeks flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 7.3 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening to 3.3 feet Saturday morning. It will then rise to 3.7 feet Saturday evening. It will fall to 3.4 feet early Sunday afternoon.
