Description:
At 218 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cherokee Rock Village, or 8 miles west of Centre, moving west at 10
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Gadsden, Centre, Leesburg, Reece City, Sand Rock, Tabor Road,
Slackland, Cherokee Rock Village, Western Weiss Lake, Weiss Dam,
Gadsden Steam Plant, Keener, Black Creek, Northside, Gadsden Water
Works, and Wilsonia.
