At 548 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Pleasant Grove, or over Hueytown, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Alabaster, Bessemer, Homewood, Pelham, Mountain Brook, Helena, Hueytown, Irondale, Calera, Chelsea, Montevallo, Columbiana, Wilsonville, Midfield, Brighton, Indian Springs Village, and Lipscomb.
