At 633 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lexington, or 17 miles northeast of Florence, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Rogersville, Lexington, Anderson, Green Hill, Kingtown, Whitehead,
and Elgin.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
