At 318 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Samantha, or 11 miles north of Northport, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Brookwood, Bull City, Binion Creek Landing, Deerlick Creek Campgrounds, Tierce Pattton Bridge, Lake Nicol, Lake Tuscaloosa, Highway 69 Bridge, East Brookwood, Sexton Bend, Lake Nicol Park, and Lake Harris.
