Description:
At 300 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Lynns Park, or near Cordova, moving southeast at
20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Jasper, Sumiton, Cordova, Dora, Adamsville, Warrior, Sipsey, Rocky
Hollow, Burnwell, Beloit, Quinton, Lynns Park, Sayre, Barney, Empire,
Powellville, Boldo, and Partridge Crossroads.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
